Game Of Thrones: 10 Huge Questions To Consider Before Season 7

3. Is The Wall Coming Down?

While the White Walkers have been bigged up as the ultimate threat to the world throughout the course of the show, they've also felt pretty far away for the vast majority of seasons, literally walled away from the rest of Westeros. Heck, in The Winds Of Winter Benjen tells Bran that the Wall is imbued with magic which literally prevents the undead from being able to pass.

Now that that's been established, then, what's the threat? Why worry about the rise of the White Walkers if the Wall means they're cut off from everyone for good? The answer is that the Wall is not going to be around for much longer.

After Benjen's comments, while the Wall still stands there's basically no threat. Is it possible that season seven will open with the Walkers using their own magic to destroy it? As for how they might do it, well...the mark Bran received from the Night King allowed the Walkers to enter the Three-Eyed Raven's cave, so what's to say the magic holding up the wall isn't something similar?
