Speaking of dragons, there's still the matter of another dragon rider. So far we've seen Daenerys ride Drogon, and now the Night King is flying on the back of Viserion, but poor Rhaegal still hasn't had anyone on his back - until Season 8, most likely.

Jon had a tender moment with a dragon in Season 7, where Drogon seemed to sense he was a Targaryen. And because of that lineage, it'd be great to see him embrace that part of himself by riding the dragon named after his father. There's going to be a lot of dragon action in this season, which also means plenty of opportunities for Jon to ride one.

At the same time, there's also Bran's ability as a warg and greenseer to consider, which needs to be about more than just Jon's parentage. He may not walk, but he will fly, and it'd be quite spectacular to see him wrest control of Viserion from the Night King. Given his powers have been so well established, as has his connection to the Night King, it feels like this really could happen in Season 8.
