Game Of Thrones: 10 Lesser Known Fan Theories That Might Actually Be True

8. Sansa Becomes Lady Stoneheart

At the end of Season 4, book fans were shocked that the series had left out a crucial part of the books. They had left out The Hangwoman, The Silent Sister, Mother Merciless - Lady Stoneheart, who was Catelyn Stark, resurrected by Beric Dondarrion in The Storm of Swords, and who can't speak because her throat was slit.

However, in the show, Catelyn never gets resurrected and Michelle Fairley (who played Lady Stark) has confirmed that she won't be returning to the show. Assuming that she isn't lying like the cast could be doing with the Jon Snow theories, it seems Catelyn is in fact, gone for good. Lady Stoneheart is extremely crucial to the books though... so what exactly are they going to do with that arc?

Some speculate that the changes in Sansa's story (from book to screen) is to make her stronger and to ultimately make her Lady Stoneheart. Perhaps her throat will be cut by Ramsay or perhaps she won't survive the fall with Theon and she'll have to be resurrected.

Either way, it doesn't seem like Sansa's story will end anytime soon, and we're all rooting for her to finally become a hero in her own right, perhaps that's how she's going to do it after all.
