Game Of Thrones: 10 Lesser Known Fan Theories That Might Actually Be True

9. Cersei Becomes The Night’s Queen

A lot of crazy theories have been brought to light since Cersei’s prophesy was foretold, but the craziest one that would be fun to follow is the one where fans believe that Cersei will, in fact, become The Night’s Queen. In this theory, Cersei will be replaced as queen by none other than herself.

Allow me to explain.

Once Tommen dies (because, let’s face it – it’s inevitable), Cersei will have lost all of her children (isn’t that what she holds most dear?), her beauty’s gone down the toilet from her less-than-flattering haircut and weight gain from being a drunk. If the White Walkers eventually arrive in the South, the Night’s King will take her on as his new wife, after Cersei's failed attempt at burning King's Landing to the ground.

This may seem absurd as the White Walkers might just seem like a bunch of zombies, but it actually makes some sense if you take this quote from George R. R. Martin into account: “The Others are not dead. They are strange, beautiful… a different sort of life… inhuman, elegant, dangerous.”

Old Nan had also told Bran a tale of the White Walkers taking humans and marrying them, so it might be a possibility after all. The “younger and more beautiful” who will cast her down might just be Cersei who becomes a White Walker herself.
