Game Of Thrones: 10 Lesser Known Fan Theories That Might Actually Be True
6. Arya Is The Valonqar
In Season 5, when Cersei's prophecy was told by Maggie The Frog, her final foresight was that “the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you.” The word "Valonqar" is High Valyrian for "Little Brother", so how could it be Arya?
Naturally, Cersei believes that the valonqar will be Tyrion, but take a moment to ponder this. What if - and we hope this part doesn't happen, but it could - what if Tyrion dies and Arya manages to get his face and kill Cersei? Sure, it might be a long shot, but there are all sorts of interesting things slipped into Arya's narrative that suggest she could be the valonqar:
She spends a lot of time posing as a boy; Syrio keeps calling her a boy, and then tells her it doesn't matter if she's a boy or girl because she is a sword; Bran thinks of her as his little sister, even if she is older than him and Yoren called the other recruits her "brothers" and they're all older than her - making her the little sister.
If Arya does end up killing Cersei, she will also be the queen by default... Queen Arya, anyone?
