Game Of Thrones: 10 Lesser Known Fan Theories That Might Actually Be True
3. Ramsay Is Azor Ahai
Azor Ahai was a legendary figure in Westeros, who lived thousands of years before Aegon first came to Westeros and defeated the Others during The Long Night. His weapon of choice was a flaming sword named Lightbringer which he successfully forged on a third attempt when he tempered it by plunging the blade through the heart of his beloved wife Nissa Nissa.
Many believe that the "second coming" of Azor Ahai will be manifested in Jon Snow, because he is the most likely candidate to become "the prince that was promised", however Azor Ahai could be a different person altogether. Some readers do believe it must be between Jon and Ramsay, as Melisandre's thoughts are: "I pray for a glimpse of Azor Ahai, and R'hllor shows me only Snow."
When you consider that Ramsay almost gets as much story time as Dany these days, it's a lot for a character that's not considered very important. He even gets wife-swapped from the books to the show to make sure he is included as much as possible. When you think about it, he's as sick as Joffrey was, but Joff was a king, so it made sense to focus on him.
