Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Brutal Deaths
3. Ellaria Sand
There had never been a great relationship between Dorne and King's Landing throughout Game of Thrones. Oberyn's murder in the capital made things much worse, since it led to his paramour, Ellaria Sand, murdering Myrcella Baratheon to exact her revenge. This move brought Cersei into the dispute for the first time, something that would prove to be fatal for the Dornishwoman.
After Ellaria and the Sand Snakes, including her daughter Tyene, were taken prisoner by Euron Greyjoy, Tywin's daughter was able to exact her revenge. If there is one thing Cersei Lannister will not tolerate, it's messing with her family. Naturally, the murder of her only daughter resulted in a retaliation like nothing else.
Chained to the walls of the Red Keep dungeons, opposite her daughter, Ellaria watched on as Cersei kissed Tyene with the very same poison as had been used on Myrcella. The Red Viper's paramore would be kept alive up to the very point she had watched her own daughter die, and only then would she be allowed to suffer a slow, painful death herself.
They say a Lannister always pays their debts. Cersei certainly paid this, and then some.
