3. Samwell The Invisible

Sam Tarly is a true badass. Having Gilly to fight for has turned him into a machine, with a 1:0 kill ratio over the master-race of white walkers. He's the first person to successfully wipe out one of the icy demons in centuries, despite the fact that he'd be about as useful as a spaghetti sword in a full battle. But let's face it, Sam should be dead right now. Long before his most famous kill, Sam is spotted by one of the white walker chiefs, helpless and alone. The walkers are a merciless breed, yet this one spares Sam. And on top of that, thousands of undisciplined wights amble straight past without so much as harming Sam. He shouldn't have survived that encounter at all, though we're glad the show defied all sense of reality and logic to keep him breathing.
