Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Spectacular Moments From Season 3
7. Mutiny At Craster's Keep, "And Now His Watch Is Ended"
The Night's Watch never got to see much on screen action until Season 3. A prime example is when they mutiny at Craster's in episode four, a huge turning point for the season. Craster has always been a despicable character. He weds and beds his daughters and feeds his newborn sons to White Walkers. There's not much the Lord Commander and his crows can do though, as Craster unwillingly gives them shelter beyond the Wall. When it's clear that Craster is going to starve them out, a few bold soldiers decide they've had enough. One finally calls out the incestuous wilding for what he is and all hell breaks loose. After killing Craster, another soldier stabs Commander Mormont repeatedly, which now leaves the Watch without a leader. This intense scene also shows that the military order that protects Westeros from wildlings and Walkers has many problems of its own.
