6. Jaime Loses His Hand "Walk Of Punishment" Jaime Lannister has always had a way with words. In Season 2, his speech about Ned Stark's adultery convinced Catelyn to set him free and charge Brienne with taking him to King's Landing to retrieve the Stark girls. In the beginning of the season, the two are captured by Bolton bannermen who don't really care much for what highborn lords and ladies have to say. Jaime tries to convince Locke, the man in charge, to set him and Brienne free with the promise of gold. His plan completely backfires. In a shocking conclusion, Locke chops off Jaime's sword hand with a butcher knife. Cue the screams from Jaime and the audience.
