Game Of Thrones: 10 Questions We're Asking After 'The Lion And The Rose'

3. What Are The Tyrells Up To?

The Tyrells waltzed into King€™s Landing last season and proceeded to turn the status quo on its head. Margaery€™s saccharine facade hides a talent for diplomacy and a fearlessness which suggests that she won€™t sacrifice her newfound royalty without a fight. Her brother Loras has had little to do since Renly was killed, but in this episode he verbally sparred with Jaime Lannister and won. Then we have Olenna, the Tyrell matriarch, whose unflappable demeanour gives us little to go on. In fact, the aims of the Tyrell family are altogether obscure, especially now that Margaery€™s ties to the throne have been weakened, if not severed. Will they stay in King€™s Landing to secure Margaery€™s betrothal to Tommen, as Sansa was once betrothed to Joffrey? Season four might just be the year of House Tyrell.
