8. Arya... What... Just... Happened...?

What. The hell. Was that? Joyously, Arya progressed to the next stage in her assassin training. She mercy-killed a dying child, demonstrating that she was ready for a step up, before following Jaqen H'ghar down a set of steps into a sprawling hall filled with enormous pillars, each hosting countless disembodied heads, pristinely preserved. Jaqen tells Arya that she is not ready to become "no one," but she is ready to become "someone else," meaning that the next time we see Arya should be explosive. Is she going to learn some deceptive tricks, or magic, or will she literally wear a dead face over her own? Nothing is impossible on Thrones. Arya's storyline dipped, but it's getting back on track, and hopefully the pay-off answers all of the burning questions swirling around her.
