Game Of Thrones: 10 Reasons Season 6 Will Be The Best Yet
10. Starting Off With A Bang
Season 5s finale really went out of its way to leave us hanging. Apart from the little skirmish at the Wall, we also had Sansa and Reek jumping off the walls of Winterfell, Arya going blind, and Daenerys coming across a massive horde of Dothraki. So when the show returns, its going to have a lot to address and it seems like we'll be thrown right back into the action. Jeremy Podeswa, the director of Season 6s first two episodes assured fans that theyre in for one hell of an opener, telling Yahoo TV, "What's great about this season is that there's very little expository stuff. It starts off with a bang and you're right into the excitement of the story." While other seasons have taken a gradual approach to kicking things off, Season 6 will be charging full speed right out of the gate. And they don't really have much of a choice in doing it another way. We were left with so many cliff-hangers that we need to immediately continue where everything left off and get some answers to some very pressing questions. And although the season opener will no doubt wrap up some of last season's shockers, expect a few new surprises as well.
