Game Of Thrones: 10 Theories On Who Will Kill Cersei Lannister
9. Margaery Tyrell
"Queen you shall be... until there comes another, younger and more beautiful, to cast you down and take all that you hold dear." This was another big part of Maggy's prophecy, that someone else will come along and take what is hers. Again, it would seem that Cersei has a pretty clear idea in her mind of who this person is, and is desperate to prevent it from happening: Margaery Tyrell. This has already started to happen to some degree, as she married Joffrey and then Tommen, and seems set to be found not guilty by the Faith, while Cersei has been punished for her numerous crimes. While she may be the Queen referred to (again, though, it might be 'too obvious'), could she be the valonqar? That's little brother, and she's quite clearly a woman. There is a big discrepancy in the translation of the word, and it's largely believed that it doesn't literally mean 'brother', but is used for anyone who is a younger sibling, or that Maggy has simply misused the term (much like her name is Maggy rather than Maegi, or the way Maester Aeom states the Prince That Was Promised could be a female). If that's the case, then Margaery would be a contender, and certainly have motive, although at this point she's an outside bet, nor do I think she will actually be the 'younger Queen'.
