Game Of Thrones: 10 Theories That Turned Out To Be Bulls*it

1. Robb Stark Is Going To Rule

Robb Stark, King in the North. The son of Eddard, he was going to avenge his father's death, take down the Lannisters, win the War of the Five Kings and become ruler of a Northern region that is totally separate and free from the rule of King's Landing. He was honourable, noble, an accomplished fighter, steadily growing as a leader and winning a number of battles. Long live King Robb. Or, at least, so it seemed. Then, of course, he went and married Jeyne Westerling (or Talisa Maegyr) and gave up his chance of a kingdom for love. As soon as he made that choice the writing was on the wall for his chances of ever having a successful rule. Then, just when he was trying to make peace and get the Freys back on side, the Red Wedding happened. Robb took a number of arrows, and then a knife to the heart as the Lannisters sent their regards. Robb is the King everyone hoped for, and for a brief moment that hope was allowed to live. And then the theory that he would indeed reign supreme over the North wasn't just debunked, it was horribly massacred in front of our bulging eyes and accompanied by the sound of our screams. What other awesome Game Of Thrones fan theories have been debunked? Shout any more you foolishly believed down in the comments.
