Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups and 2 Downs From 'The Door'

3. Jorah's Goodbye

Although in the end this wasn't the emotional moment from the episode, it was still a very touching one (there's a slight irony there, given Jorah can't, well, y'know, touch anyone...). Jorah finally tells a couple of truths to Daenerys: 1) That he has greyscale, and 2) He loves her.

Although initially he is confining himself to self-banishment, Daenerys instead commands him to find a cure, and then come back to him as he'll be needed by her side. It's a moment both wonderful and sad, because Dany realises how much she needs him, and Jorah's loyalty has some validation by that, but also there's an extremely slim chance of him ever finding a cure, and he knows that.
