Game Of Thrones: 10 Ways Season 5 Spoilt The Winds Of Winter

7. Myrcella Gets Poisoned

One of Maggy the Frog€™s predictions to Cersei is that she would have three children, and all of them would die before her. In both show and books there€™s already one down, with the death of King Joffrey, and now the show has crossed another one off.

When it seems that Myrcella is going to safely head back to King€™s Landing with her father Jaime, it turns out that she has been poisoned and ends up dying in his arms. By contrast in the books she has been injured, but is very much alive.

It€™s one of several changes to the Dorne storyline, and the most significant for the future. Things certainly don€™t look too good for Myrcella in The Winds of Winter now, and King Tommen may well be having his reign cut rather short, while this could well be the spark for war between Lannisters and Martells.
