Game Of Thrones: 10 Worst Characters Who Appeared After Season One
1. The Night King
Okay, so this may be a controversial entry, but be honest - does anyone still have any idea who this guy is?
From his introduction in Season Four, fans were curious at this idea of a figurehead leading the army of the dead. A new concept to the show (and unmentioned in the source material), many were excited to see how this character would unfold. As the presumed 'big bad' of the entire series, just who was the Night King?
Sadly, the answer is still, well, unanswered to this day.
Aside from a few menacing glares during his rare appearances (along with a flashback showing the king of the dead being stabbed with dragon glass), we're no closer to knowing anything about this supposedly super powerful being, long after his demise at the hands of Arya Stark in the anti-climactic episode, 'The Long Night'.
Who was he before he led the army of the dead? Just what was his purpose and reasoning for leading the Wight Walkers to destroy Westeros?
Many are actually hoping we'll get answers in the upcoming HBO prequel series, 'House Of The Dragon', but it's a bit of a long shot at this stage.
