Then

One of the younger members of the Stark family, Bran wasn't exactly a major player back in Season 2 - and yet, he still managed to have a huge part in events that would have reverberations throughout Westeros. An inquisitive young boy, he was climbing the walls of Winterfell when he happened upon Jaime and Cersei engaging in some incestuous activity - and was pushed to his potential death. He survived, but only in a coma, and then a later assassination attempt was made on his life. He eventually wakes up, and begins to dream of a three-eyed raven.

Now

Bran IS the Three-Eyed Raven. After a season honing his skills off-screen, Bran returned in a big way in Season 6. He started to visit the past, and it even appeared that he could have some influence over events that'd already happened when he called his father's name. That was then revealed to be devastatingly accurate when it was revealed he was responsible for Wyllis becoming Hodor, and for his death.

He's gaining increasing control over his powers though, and should continue to do so in Season 7 - indeed, Bran could potentially become more powerful than anybody else. At the same time, since he bears the Night King's mark, he might also be the one who inadvertently leads the White Walkers straight into Westeros.
