2. Daenerys Targaryen

Tin. Hat. On. Daenerys Targaryen has been somewhat transformed into a powerful female icon back in the real world, when in reality, she should be hated far more than her 'hero' tag would suggest. Again, I do like her character and I'm leaning towards wanting her to succeed, but if you look at the trail of destruction she's left behind, you've got to ask whether it's really all worth it. The Starks and other Northmen stick to "the old way", with a strong grasp on their traditions, while Daenerys sweeps across Essos annihilating cultures. Of course slavery had to be abolished, but in doing so, she also left thousands homeless, starving, and ultimately dying. She's also been known to execute people without a trial or any real evidence (remember the noble man who got turned to dragon food?) and if nothing else has swayed you, surely the fact that she hates Starks is enough for you to hate her even just a little bit? She says Eddard Stark deserved to die as one of the Usurpers Dogs, but she's still one of the most loved characters. It'll be interesting when she comes face to face with a... Stark.
