Game Of Thrones: 12 Characters You Should Definitely Hate More

1. Renly Baratheon

Okay, so you're probably confused at this, but it's true. It's all Renly's fault. Renly Baratheon's claim to the Iron Throne was always second class to Stannis, who was indeed the rightful heir. If Renly had simply accepted the fact that he was the younger brother and obeyed Stannis, the two Baratheon boys would've walked through the gates of King's Landing and taken up a spot in the Red Keep, with Tywin, Cersei, Joffrey and a host of other Lannister heads on spikes along the walls. They would have ended the Lannisters before we ever got to the Red Wedding, and with the south secured, Robb would've been able to return to the North. He met Talisa around the same time as Renly's death, so there's even a chance he would've withdrawn before he could break his vow to Walder Frey. However, even if he had still married Talisa, Frey alone wouldn't have masterminded the Red Wedding. But instead of doing the right, logical thing, Renly Baratheon and the Tyrells partied and danced their way towards the capital with no urgency, and the little upstart was taken out.
