Game Of Thrones: 12 Most Satisfying Deaths

9. Alliser Thorne And The Mutineers

Most of the time, when a Game of Thrones villain kills off a fan favourite, their victim stays dead. This was not the case with Alliser Thorne and the mutineers who murdered Jon Snow.

After saving the Free Folk from the White Walkers by bringing them to Castle Black, some of Jon's fellow Night's Watch brothers let their old hatred of the Free Folk take over. Led by Ser Alliser, they killed Jon in the name of "the Watch," making them the least popular characters in the show during the gap between Seasons 5 and 6.

However, luckily for everyone except Thorne and his men, Melisandre brought Jon Snow back to life early in Season 6. Jon's first action when he's back among the living is taking revenge on his killers, hanging the four of them for treason.

Thorne and the mutineers ultimately got executed by someone they killed. Talk about poetic justice.
