2. Orell (Mackenzie Crook)
Mackenzie Crook is another one of those British actors getting their fill of swords and dragons by joining the ever expanding cast of Season 3. We've seen very little of his Wildling scout Orell, but I have faith in the show's producers to understand it would be a crime to waste talent such as Crook's by not giving him much more on-screen time. I wager that most people either know Crook from his turn as the delightfully dim Gareth in Ricky Gervais' 'The Office' or as Ragetti in the Pirates of the Caribbean series - yes, he's the bloke with the glass eye! Both roles showcased the comedic abilities of the Kent-born thesp but turns in 'The Merchant of Venice' and 'Finding Neverland' also served to highlight his abilities as a serious actor too. As a result, Game of Thrones has appeared to have lucked in, in securing one of Britain's most versatile up-and-coming actors to join their already experienced ranks. Other roles include appearances in Skins, Merlin and Jimmy McGovern's 'Accused', as well as roles in Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, Solomon Kane, Ironclad, The Brother's Grimm, I Want Candy and Sex Lives of the Potato Men - quite a mix!
