Game Of Thrones: 12 Things You Learn Rewatching Season 2

2. The House Of The Undying - What Came To Pass?

Daenerys' storyline pays off with the House of the Undying sequence, where she stumbles through a number of visions before eventually finding her beloved dragons and killing the warlocks of Qarth. While the scene is dramatically altered from the book, and thus not quite as dripping with as much prophecy and foreshadowing, there are still a few key scenes. Here's what Daenerys sees:

- An illusion of the charred remains of the Red Keep's Great Hall, with snow dusting the Iron Throne

- She then emerges through the Wall and into a snowstorm

- She finds Drogo and Rhaego in a tent, but cannot stay with them

Of these, the only one that's actually happened is Daenerys going beyond the Wall in Season 7. Accompanying this is the sound of a dragon in distress: on one hand, this could be a sign of her going North to save Jon Snow. On the other, it could foreshadow the death of Viserion when she does so. Of the other two, there's a good chance we see something akin to the Great Hall moment in Season 8. Winter has come to King's Landing, and Daenerys will presumably return there with her dragons, so she could burn it down. The snow, though, could instead refer to Jon being on the Iron Throne, which is again entirely possible.

The biggest outlier here is Drogo and Rhaego. Does this mean Daenerys will die in Season 8, and be reunited with them? Or is this simply a signifier of her finding those things again: having a baby with Jon Snow?
