Game Of Thrones: 12 Things You Learn Rewatching Season 6

4. Lord Glover's Words About Robb Suggest Daenerys Won't Get A Good Reception

When approached by Sansa and Jon in Season 6, Lord Robett Glover lambasts the former King in the North, Robb Stark, for "taking up with a foreign whore, gettin’ himself and all that followed him killed.."

Lord Glover does eventually bend the knee to Jon in the finale, but those words - coupled with his suggestion in Season 7 that perhaps Sansa should be leading the North - do provide a hint towards what we can expect when Jon and Daenerys turn up at Winterfell in Season 8.

The Northerners didn't want him to ride south. They certainly didn't want him to bend the knee. He had his reasons for both, of course, but we can see from Glover's words that Dany is not going to be wholly welcomed at Winterfell.
