1. The Two Targeryans
Okay, so this is a fun scene to unpack. Jon & Daenerys finally getting together is something the show had been telegraphing for a while, but there's a kind of art to how far the writers go in complicating the audience's feelings toward the relationship. The sequence reveals not only that Jon & Daenerys are finally going to get it on, but that they are technically speaking aunt and nephew.
We were shocked by the incest in the first episode, but by now we have gotten a bit used to it, as strange as that sounds. This sequence does its very best to challenge just how desensitized we've become over the years.
We see Jon and Dany having sex, just as Bran reveals that Jon is actually Aegon Targeryan (Aejon?). There's a spectacular degree of shamelessness to this sequence, as if the writers wanted to say: "Yeah, that fanservice you've been wanting for years is actually incest. How do you feel about that?"
And the fans collectively came together and said, "Yeah, we're fine with that."
