Game Of Thrones: 18 Terrible Ideas That Were Great To Watch
3. Taking Talisa To The Twins
Things were starting to look up for Robb. He was mending fences with the affronted Walder Frey by guilting his uncle into taking his place as groom to a Frey bride, there hadn't been any major battles or losses of life lately, he had the Blackfish as a new advisor, and Talisa did not seem to be a spy, as many of us suspected from her introduction in season 2. Things weren't going too badly for him, and if you were capable of ignoring the horrible sense of foreboding, you might have even thought that the Starks might actually come out on top at the end of this season. That has to happen sometime, right? Haha, no. Unfortunately, Robb continues to prove that he is not the most tactful man to have ever declared himself king. While there's usually nothing wrong with a married man taking his wife to a wedding, Robb might have realized that her presence would have been a massive insult to Lord Frey. To his credit, however, he wasn't the only person to not realize that bringing Talisa to the Twins was a bad idea, and even Catelyn did not think to leave her behind at Riverrun. And it gets worse...
