Taking Pregnant Talisa To The TwinsGame Of Thrones Robb And Tulisa While camping for the night on the way to the wedding at the Twins, Robb learns some wonderful news: Talisa is pregnant, and he has an heir on the way. It was a happy turn of events in what had been a very unhappy season for Robb. It was too happy. If the tension of the meeting between (almost all of) the Northern forces and the Freys had not been warning enough, Talisa's giddy suggestion that they name their son "Ned" was the final nail in the coffin. The wedding was in the ninth episode of the season. Big things happen in ninth episodes of Game of Thrones seasons, and those big things generally aren't so great for the Starks. Especially Starks named "Ned." Taking Talisa to the Twins had been a bad idea back when she was just going to be the exotic interloper who had stolen King Robb away from the Freys. Taking her to the Twins while pregnant turned a bad idea into a terrible idea. If the news somehow got out to Walder Frey, the insult of her appearance would certainly be compounded. It might even provoke him to violence. (Unless, of course, there was already a whole lot of violence planned and she was just a bonus person to stab.) As soon as Robb found out about the pregnancy, he should have sent Talisa back to the safety of Riverrun. If something were to happen to him on the road or during a certain song, his heir would be protected. Bringing her with him even once he learned of her pregnancy was a terrible idea; in this case, however, it was also pretty terrible to watch. Compelling, but terrible. Which leads us to...
