Game Of Thrones: 25 Key Details You Need To Know & Remember For Season 8

15. The Wall Has Fallen

The Wall has stood as a barrier between the living and the dead for thousands of years, and in the space of an instant it was destroyed.

Season 7 made a number of references to the Wall's ability to withstand just about anything, so of course it came crashing down in the Season 7 finale. It did so courtesy of the Night King and his new favourite weapon, the undead Viserion, whose blue flame destroyed a huge chunk of the Wall to allow the army of the dead to easily cross into Westeros proper.

They're now well on the march, and likely to decimate the lands that lie before them, such as Last Hearth, on the path to Winterfell.
