Game Of Thrones: 4 Best Music Videos Inspired By The Series

1. "Game of Thrones" Ultimate Birthday Rap Battle - StagefiveTv

Stage 5's Ultimate Birthday rap, in my mind, was the only contender for the top spot. I must have watched this video near a hundred times over the last few months. The video depicts a children's birthday party that has a Game of Thrones theme...it is obvious to the audience that this would be a very ill-thought idea. The song is introduced by Littlefinger, Maester Pycelle and Lord Varys who act as near-narrators to the video as the verses are distributed between King Robert (Noah Eichen), Cersei (Phoebe Volpe), Joffery (Andrew Volpe), Robb Stark (Scott Culver), Jon Snow and Samwell (again Andrew Volpe and Noah Eichen respectably), and finally Daenerys (Taryn Southren). Each section contends the individual characters trials over the series with a comedic twist; Jon Snow's focusing on the character's sexual conquest with Ygritte, backed by the vocals of Samwell, where as Robb Stark is portrayed as overjoyed and extremely optimistic over the fate of his family despite their vocalised distress over the dire situations they are in (including Brienne fighting a bear). The main characters are even supported by an essemble of supporting characters such as versions of Tyrion, Ned, Margaery, the Stark faamily, Theon, Drogo, Jorah and many more. Kelsey Gunn, of 5-second films fame, and Taryn Southern, maker of Hot4Hill, add an extra dimension to the video, with Taryn producing a masterful rap as Daenerys. The video is full of jokes, it is diverse and hilariously entertaining, so much that Stage 5 made a follow-up entitled We are the North made from parts of the Ultimate Birthday Rap video and unused footage, there is even a verse dedicated to Hodor. Let me know your opinion and If I've missed any videos inspired by Game Of Thrones!
