All the lies and deceit, all the manipulation, all the faux-pillars of power built upon thinking the Lannister name still meant something with Tywin dead, comes crumbling down on Cersei this week. With her father and eldest son dead, her brother and daughter in Dorne, and her remaining son more concerned with the woman she desperately wants rid of, Cersei has very little to protect herself with, and she has no place to hide when the High Sparrow turns his gaze upon her. The plotting against the Tyrells has backfired spectacularly, as Littlefinger and Olenna conspire to reveal the truth to the Faith Militant about her and Lancel (although whether its their affair, or her part in Roberts death, or both, is unclear just yet) and shes thrown into one of the cells where earlier in the episode she was so gleefully taunting Margaery.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
