Game Of Thrones: 5 Ups And 5 Downs From Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
7. Tyrion And Jorah Are Captured - Down
Following on from their heart-to-heart, we see Jorah and Tyrion captured by slavers, who want to cut off the imps, well, a part you definitely wouldnt want cutting off, and sell it on to a merchant who deals in such items, because thats a thing apparently. The scene is a good opportunity for Peter Dinklage to do his thing, showcasing Tyrions ability to think fast and talk faster to get them out of trouble. Sort of. Theyve still been captured - and theres a nice irony in Jorah going from capturer to captive - but rather than death, they are instead headed for Slavers Bay, where Jorah will be forced to head into the newly reopened fighting pits and battle for them. Its not ideal, but at least theyre still alive, and still continuing on to Meereen. How that works out for them remains to be seen, but after ending Kill The Boy escaping Stone Men, surely they couldn't make such a lucky escape this time around.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
