Game Of Thrones: The Winners & Losers In 'The Lion And The Rose'

2. Tyrion

In last week's list we mentioned that Tyrion would appear frequently on the 'loser' side of the equation; and here he is again, but a week later. It was a surprise to see Joffrey's wedding take place so soon in the season, because now it really will be all downhill for Tyrion. It almost isn't really relevant anymore, to count the number of times that Tyrion is either humiliated or forced into doing something he despises each episode. The scale has tipped so drastically that it is harder to tally up the moments that go well for him than those that don't. Inevitably, Tyrion finds himself the butt of Joffrey's jests during the wedding feast, and before, but it is Joffrey's accusing hand, raised with his final breath, that condemns Tyrion as the culprit in the King's murder. Whether he is guilty or not, you can bet your holdfast that Cersei will do everything in her power to see that he pays for it with his life.
