1. What Happens Next?
Whether or not Jon comes back, this could well spell the end of the Nights Watch as we know it. Theyve just killed their Lord Commander, and with a number there still presumably loyal to him - as well as all of the wildlings he saved - there will surely be a huge fallout from this, and many members of the Watch may not survive it. If he is dead, then theyll be out for revenge, and if he comes back hell be leading that charge. Also, if he is definitely dead, then that changes pretty much everything known about the series, and the notion of Jon being one of the three heads of the dragon or being Azor Ahai and leading Westeros in the war against the Others. If he does come back, outside of the implications for The Wall, itll confirm just how huge a part he has to play in the series endgame, meaning that a reveal of his true parentage cant be that far off.
