Game Of Thrones: 7 Best Moments From The Mountain And The Viper

7. Mole's Town Attack

The episode starts off at Mole's Town as a couple members of the NIght's Watch arrive to partake in the services of the local brothel. Right away you know something isn't right because we know the Wildlings are moving towards Castle Black, and sure enough Styr, Tormund, Ygritte and the rest attack in the night. The slaughter everyone indiscriminately, with the exception of Gilly and baby Sam, as Ygritte's compassion causes her to spare them. This scene does a good job setting up the epic battle that is to come in the next episode between the Night's Watch and the Wildlings. Mole's Town is very close to Castle Black, so it's only a matter of time. Ygritte is still as ruthless as the last time we saw her, though her sparing Gilly shows that she still has a soft spot and a line that even she won't cross. Overall this was a nice little action scene that sets the stage for the Wildling attack on Castle Black. As Ygritte and that small band of Wildlings march from the south, Mance Rayder and his massive army are marching from the north, which means the Night's Watch will be attacked from both sides at the same time. It's going to take some clever planning and a whole lot of luck if they are going to survive.
