Game Of Thrones: 7 Most Likely Winners & Losers Of Season 6

6. Tormund Giantsbane

Likely Outcome: Killed gloriously in battle.

Despite him being a legitimate bad-ass when he first appeared, the Wildlings' fiercest warrior Tormund has had his claws clipped in more recent seasons. He's seen the deaths of two military leaders, his people defeated and then forced into allegiance with a Crow and the ravaging of Hardhome, and it looks like he's about to jump into the fire himself.

With the Wildlings likely to fight the Bolton army on the fields outside of Winterfell, there's going to be a lot of casualties. And whether HBO claim this season isn't going to be as dark as the last, it wouldn't be Game Of Thrones without some beloved or cult heroes losing their lives.

Even if Jon Snow returns, Tormund's death fighting for the Bastard's cause and for his home fits his narrative arc. He's never going to know peace or settlement, and while it would be great to see him killing wights next season, I just can't see it.
