5. Balon Greyjoy

Likely Outcome: Killed by his own kin.

Though the Greyjoys have been restricted to intriguing side concern for most of the seasons to date (aside from Theon obviously), they're set to see their participation increased this time out. And the arrival of the dread pirate Euron is going to be the catalyst for that change.

In the books, Euron's arrival also spells the end of Balon Greyjoy's reign in the Iron Isles, and his younger brother's audacious claim that he will be conquer the whole of Westeros using the power of dragons. Whether the show introduces Euron's dragon horn or not remains to be seen, but he and Balon simply cannot coexist, and it would seem a new power will rise.

We can all probably expect Balon to bow out (or tumble off a bridge, more likely) not too long after the first opening credits are finished.
