Game Of Thrones: 8 Huge Predictions For The Second Half Of Season Six

1. Jorah Is Going To Sacrifice His Life For Daenerys

Jorah Mormont is doomed. His untimely death was signed and sealed the moment he was infected by Greyscale. Though this infliction has been somewhat on the back burner since, we've still been getting regular updates on its spread. By continuing to show remind us of it, viewers are constantly aware that Jorah's days are numbered.

Though it's easy to forget, Jorah and Dany's relationship is still in pieces. Season four saw Jorah banished for his betrayal, and even in season five, after when he shows up with Tyrion, once again he's ejected from the city. It's clear that no small act will redeem him in her eyes, so the sacrifice of his life to protect her is fairly certain, given the fact he's already marked for death. Such an action wouldn't only round off his character nicely, it'd also tie up several loose narrative ends.

Though it's unclear what circumstance might specifically lead to it, with half a season left to go there's inevitably going to be a bit more violent conflict involved before Dany gets her fleet and hits up Westeros. Perhaps the resolution of the Sons of the Harpy plot line currently being nursed by Varys and Tyrion?
