Game Of Thrones: 8 Most Exciting New Additions For Season 6

7. Red Priestess (Ania Bukstein)

The first episode of Season 6 will be titled The Red Woman, but the latest trailer showed that this is about more than just Melisandre.

While the scheming shadow-breeder will have a big part in the things to come, we were introduced to a new Red Priestess, played by Israeli actress Ania Bukstein.

She's arrived in Meereen and has a conversation with Varys and Tyrion, one she walks away from looking pretty smug, while the two men are left rather confused and worried.

Quite what role she'll have in Meereen isn't clear, but throwing a Red Priestess into the mix there, one that already includes a kinslaying dwarf, a spying eunuch, the Mother of Dragons, a man with greyscale, a dangerous insurgency group, and the aforementioned dragons themselves, promises to make some sparks fly even more than they already have.

Melanie Liburd was also cast to play another Red Priestess, and it's not clear yet whether that's still happening (she's still credited for the role), but if it is then we're going to have a whole lot of blood magic on our hands, especially as Thoros of Myr has been confirmed to return as well.
