Game Of Thrones: 8 Most Exciting New Additions For Season 6

6. The New Northern Lords And Lady (Various)

The North is coming back in a big way this year, which is great news for the show, for a variety of reasons. It'll feel fresh, as it hasn't received as much screentime in the past few years, and also there's a wealth of material and houses to be explored there. These houses are going to really come into force in Season 6, as we're going to be seeing, at the very least, representatives of Mormont, Hornwood, and Umber.

All three banners appear during the battle scenes in the trailers, and there have also been a couple of castings for this as well. A few casting calls have referred to Northern Lords, with one indicating Lord Wyman Manderly could be showing up (Frey pies, anyone?), while Dean S. Jagger has been confirmed as Smalljon Umber, the son of Greatjon we met back in Season 1.

Liam Cunningham, meanwhile, recently confirmed that he was speaking to Lyanna Mormont in the trailer (that "the dead are coming" speech). Although only 10-years-old, she's a fierce Stark loyalist, refusing to bend the knee to Stannis Baratheon, and it'll be interesting to see a child mixing with the other Northern Lords.
