Game Of Thrones: 8 New Pieces Of Evidence That Jon Snow Will Return

At Game of Thrones' Comic-Con panel this year, just about every person who would have any knowledge about Jon Snow's return was conveniently absent. Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss, author George R.R. Martin and Kit Harington himself all sat the event out despite being present in prior years. In fact, this was the first time Benioff and Weiss ever skipped Comic-Con during Game of Thrones' run.

Hmm, why ever could that be?

With Harington, it's not as if being killed off precludes an actor from attending Comic-Con, as just last year Pedro Pascal went despite Oberyn's death in Season 4. No, Benioff, Weiss and Harington all knew that if they showed up, every question in the Q&A would be about Jon Snow, and something would inevitably slip out. They took the safe route and opted out of the panel altogether so they didn't have to keep up the lie in person.

This silence really just makes Jon Snow's resurrection seem more likely. Game of Thrones has famously killed off tons of characters, but they've never had to dodge questions about deaths before, so why all the secrecy and fan avoidance all of a sudden? HBO is clearly trying to preserve the surprise for next year, but so far it isn't working out too well for them.
