Game Of Thrones: 8 New Pieces Of Evidence That Jon Snow Will Return
4. The Official "Beauitful Death" Image
All throughout Season 5, HBO released Game of Thrones artwork they commissioned in a series called “Beautiful Death." Each one was a visual representation of the episode, and HBO describes it as "The official episode-by-episode guide to the most iconic deaths in the realm." Some previous illustrations have covered the deaths of Ned Stark, Oberyn Martell and Tywin Lannister.
Basically, if a major character is killed off in the show, this series is going to depict it.
So then why the hell is the official Beautiful Death image for the Season 5 finale of Stannis? In the episode where one of the main protagonists is supposedly killed, you would think that would be considered the key death, right? Instead, the illustration is of Stannis bleeding out with the quote "Go on, do your duty."
That was a memorable moment to be sure, but if the illustrations are meant to depict the most iconic deaths, Jon Snow's is obviously more significant than Stannis'. This is official HBO artwork, and so the fact that they choose to completely ignore Jon definitely raises some questions.
