3. Gwendoline Christie - Brienne
Brienne is a strange character as her loyalty can be commended without question, though she hasn't actually done a lot in the show for a long time. Her role in Season 5 was mainly limited to more aimless wandering around the North with Pod. Inwardly, she's heavily guarded and heavily introverted as a character, and that's where a few problems rise up. Towards the end of Season 5, her role was limited to watching out of a window in the hopes of spotting Sansa light a signal candle. Gwendoline Christie is a fine actress and does as much with her scenes as she can, but at the end of the day, she's intensely staring at an empty stone room. Brienne's fight with the Hound in Season 4 was probably her peak. It was a brutal fight that took a huge toll on Christie herself, with bumps, bashes and bruises across her body. She really goes full-on into scenes and isn't afraid to go over-the-top with the screams, howls and grunts during fight scenes.
