Game Of Thrones: 9 Biggest Over-Actors

1. Aiden Gillen - Petyr Baelish

Baelish is a love-hate character. You either love not knowing what his end-game is and watching him scheme his way around Westeros setting up dominos ready to topple on his command, or you hate not knowing what his end-game is and you're sick of hearing his nonsensical speeches. Aiden Gillen's accent wanders from the brink of English gentleman to surprise Irish for no apparent reason, and every line that slides out of his mouth is a riddle, wrapped in a riddle, wrapped in a riddle, smothered in lies, and sprinkled with charm. Every sentence Gillen speaks is dramatic to the extreme. Baelish is incapable of talking to people on a simple level, and that's part of the reason why Gillen has to play up his role. It comes across over-the-top, but a Westeros where Baelish is reined in would take away a huge chunk of: 'what next?' from the entire story.
