Game Of Thrones Preview: What To Expect From S5E9 The Dance Of Dragons

3. Arya Confronts Her Past

The synopsis states: €œArya encounters someone from her past.€ Who from her past could be in Braavos? Well, if Mace Tyrell is finally getting there this week, then that means Meryn Trant will be as well, and he is one of the names on her €˜kill-list€™. There€™s no doubt Arya would at least attempt to murder him, but she is now Lanna. Will she go back on that and cross a name off her list, or will she choose to continue on her path to becoming €˜no one€™? The image above indicates it may be the former, as Jaqen doesn€™t look too happy with her. In the teaser, we get another look at her actual target, the gambler, who she€™s supposed to be poisoning. Is she going to go through with it, kill Trant instead, or will there be a victim for both Arya and Lanna?
