Game Of Thrones Preview: What To Expect From S5E9 The Dance Of Dragons
2. Jorah Enters The Pit
Last week Jorah was sent away by Daenerys for the second time. On this occasion, though, he wont be going far, choosing instead to enter into the newly reopened fighting pits. As the synopsis tells us: Dany reluctantly oversees a traditional celebration of athleticism. While we saw a fighting pit in The Gift, the one were getting this time - and see in the teaser - will be Daznaks Pit, which is on a much grander scale, something more akin to the Colosseum. Jorahs entering, but with little regard for his life. Hes essentially a goner anyway, so will it be the greyscale or the fighting that does for him first? Is he going to sacrifice himself for his Queen, or is he going to end up infecting half of Meereen? Either way, the likelihood is that Jorah wont be long for this world. However, he wont be alone in the Pit, and thats not just including the other fighters
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
