George RR Martin's Game Of Thrones is now arguably the biggest TV show of all time. Heading into its eighth and final season - and with a spin-off prequel already planned (and more to follow) - it is HBO's flagship show and a phenomenally popular addition to the TV calendar.
Despite not taking off nearly as well as HBO would have hoped initially, word of mouth turned the show into must-see TV and over the years, we've all become deeply invested in the many intertwining stories.
