Game Of Thrones Recap: 12 Things You Learn Rewatching Season 5

8. Dorne Is A Real Low Point

Dorne is one of the show's most infamous plot points - and by infamous, I mean disliked - and while that's true, it's also such a shame given how good it could have been.

There's great material to work with in Dorne, albeit hard to condense into an already massive TV show that only has 10 episodes per season. But even then, while you can understand cutting out Arianne and Quentyn Martell, or changing the plot surround Myrcella, there's no excuse for just how bad a lot of this stuff is on screen.

The performances, the dialogue, and the choreography are, by Game of Thrones' high standards, really weak. The Sand Snakes fight with Jaime and Bronn, and Tyene's "bad pu**y" line are the ones most mentioned, but looking back there's not really a great deal that does work here.
