Game Of Thrones Season 4 Spoilers: 5 Things That Will Rule
1. The Death Of Joffrey Lannister (aka The Purple Wedding)
This is probably the one pretty much everyone is excited about and I cant say that I blame them. Joffrey Baratheon, first of his name, king of the douchebags and abusers everywhere, dies. It is the greatest thing ever and I actually did a little happy dance when I first read that scene in the books.
He goes out of life like he came into it, being a pompous jackass. Hes at his wedding. He gets drunk, tries to make Tyrion ride a pig, makes him be his cupbearer, pours wine on him, and finally in a completely inglorious death, chokes to death on a pie. At least, thats how it appears. He was actually poisoned by the Tyrells, but nobody points a finger at them. Instead, its Tyrion who takes the blame and its Sansa who takes a chance in the chaos to flee. When its all said and done, the only one mourning Joffrey is Cersei.
A fitting end, and one that the people of Westeros and the audience have all been waiting for. Its finally here. We just have to wait another 11 months.
