Game Of Thrones Season 4 Spoilers: 5 Things That Will Rule

2. The Battle For The Wall & Jon Being Made Lord Commander

got battle for the wall

Now this is something that I know lots of people will be excited about. One of the most common complains about Game of Thrones is the sometimes lack of action. There€™s a lot of talking, but not a lot of fighting. Now this is mostly due to budget issues, as battle scenes are super expensive. The Battle of Blackwater of Season 2 was epic, but was also very much cut down from its ferocity in the books. Because of the money issue, Game of Thrones has generally done a good job of showing the impact of a battle without showing the battle itself. But if David Benioff and the other producers know what they€™re doing, which they do, they€™re definitely gonna show this one.

The Battle for the Wall, between the Wildlings and the men of the Night€™s Watch, promises to be a spectacular affair. After Jon Snow makes it back to the Watch after escaping the Wildlings, he warns them of what is ahead and they prepare for a battle. And the battle is epic, but one they seem like they€™re going to lose, if not for the intervention of Stannis Baratheon and Melisandre. With their faces combined, they defend the wall and push back the Wildlings once and for all. I can€™t wait for this. It€™s going to be Battle of Blackwater, Part 2.

And it doesn€™t end there. After the battle, with a little manipulation by Sam but also a lot of love from his brothers, Jon Snow is declared Commander of the Night€™s Watch. To go from the bastard son of Ned Stark to Lord Commander is truly a great thing. Getting to kick some Wildling ass and becoming Lord Commander sounds like a good season for Jon Snow.
